About me...

Let me introduce myself. My name is Mohammad Alameer, and I am based in Kuwait. I am a doctor specialized in speech and swallowing disorders. I pick up my camera to shoot people; I mean shoot peoples’ heads.

Like most other photographers, I started shooting everything (landscape, animals, food… you name it). I couldn’t choose one type of photography, until it chose me. I realized that I enjoy shooting people thanks, to my boy, Saleh, who’s always been there to model.   

For those who speak French, please don’t get the name of this portfolio, Photo Nu, wrong. It means “naked”. I hope that doesn't make it worse! In fact, the concept behind this name is to strip the photo from all artifice (extra makeup, accessories, props, etc.). For this reason, I believe that interacting with the clients to focusing on their energy and genuine expressions can create the best photos, rather than relying on complex lighting and camera setting.

I typically start a photo-shoot with some light chit-chat followed by a little coaching (don't worry I will not ask you to smile or say "cheeese"). Once we start shooting, my job is to make the camera and lights invisible, to make you feel comfortable and I'm pretty good at that. And here comes the party...
